Engineering Physics Department

About the Department

Engineering Physics Department was founded together with the very first maritime university MMU in Myanmar in 2002 as one of the supporting departments of MMU. The subject provided by the Department is mainly intended to meet the requirements for knowledge and understanding through a broad range of interesting real world applications and maritime field.

Aims and Objectives

This study program aims to take responsibility to impart the knowledge of Physics to engineering students to open new avenues of areas such as mechanics for engineers and electromagnetism for nautical science students. Also enhance the application of basic concepts and principles to prepare to work on forefront ideas in science and technology.

Quality Objectives

To maintain student pass percentage above 90% for each academic year.
